Thought I'd share a poem
MY TAPESTRY OF FRIENDSHIPS
by Dr Angel Adams
I am standing at the loom
celebrating and admiring my tapestry.
Through the years I have found
silk and wool to weave the warp
and weft threads together.
There were times my heart needed to
mend a tattered piece of thread.
While weaving an exciting new piece
to the design, the tear I was repairing
made the pattern even more beautiful.
Relationships depend upon a
mindful connection between the scale
of the weave and sensitivity to small details
to capture the overall spirit .
Sometimes it has been difficult to
twist and twine all the emotions
that patterns can bring.
I am not a weary weaver.
There is so much joy and closeness,
that each radiant colour speaks.
Every friendship brings an internal rhythm
and life in its own expression,
