Welcome
“We must be the change we wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Dr Angel Adams
There comes a time in everyone’s life when we feel the need to change old patterns and habits. It begins with peacefully loving ourselves and our children first.
If you want to change, I will offer you a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness approach which integrates a holistic model to match your unique needs. As you can see by reading my articles, the therapeutic interventions I use are backed up by neuroscientific research. I will work with you in a non-judgmental, honest and respectful way to help you and/or your child make those changes that you both may struggle with. My primary goal is for you as an adult to become truly inspired to develop mindfulness in your everyday life. I will help you to initiate a deliberate cultivation of self-awareness and self-acceptance which, if you are willing to practice, can ultimately lead to a deep sense of wholeness and self-worth.
Thanks again for everything and I'm so glad I got in touch with you, you've made a huge difference to me and my family and to my mother who you helped years ago.

Our son is much happier this year after visiting some universities and applying for courses. He seems to be positively focused on his work. Thank you very much for all your help.

For the first time I now understand my daughter’s diagnosis thanks to Dr Adams. It has totally transformed my relationship with her and brought a closeness that we have never had before.

Many thanks for the report. We feel more confident that we know and understand our son, whilst being reminded that he is the product of experiences that have shaped him before he became part of our lives.

Thank you for all your support and help during the stressful times earlier this year which I feel I have now overcome. I am now exercising more, eating healthier, meditating some days and generally being more mindful of situations- recognising when a negative or anxious thought arises. I'm very grateful for all the guidance and techniques you have taught me.
- Young adult female during her final year at 6th form.
Thanks to your speedy diagnosis of my daughter's ADD what must be at least five years ago now when she was a struggling pupil. She has with the help of her Concerta medication has had a fabulous boarding experience and achieved her full potential at A'level with three straight A's in English, History and Philosophy.
She is now looking forward to hopefully three, very happy years ahead at University to read Philosophy with more loyal friends than she could have ever have dreamt of five years ago. Keep up your wonderful work and thank you again for being so skilful, helpful and reassuring to me all those years ago.

Just wanted to thank you for the experience I was able to gain whilst working with you! It has been invaluable, both in getting offered these jobs and in deciding what I would do with my life. I would be a different person, had I not been given the opportunity to work with you.

Really love your direct clarity in our couples therapy and I found your approach profoundly insightful and challenging.

Our session on Skype is already bearing fruits. To start with... in my own attitude... and in the discussion I have had with my husband. Thank you so much for all your help.

New Perspectives on Parenting
I created an innovative Parent Training model, called New Perspectives, for parents with special needs children. I offer this via face-to face, phone or Skype sessions which make it possible to have one-off consultations, a series of coaching sessions, or a parenting course wherever you live in the world. This obviously saves money and time spent on arranging childcare and travelling expenses.
I also provide training, insets and workshops for local schools, businesses, and authorities in the greater London area.
For information on about these services, visit my page for parents.
